November 2009: Insero the lettings division of Peverel Property Management, headquartered in North London, has been awarded prestigious Investors in People accreditation in recognition of its performance in training and developing its staff.
As part of gaining the accreditation an IIP assessor undertook a series of interviews with a representative group of staff and managers from the business. Some of the key business targets that were assessed included:
· Developing and clearly communicating strategies to improve the performance of the organisation
· Developing the whole team to deliver increasing standards of quality and Customer Service
· Taking action to improve the performance of people in the organisation
· Evaluating these actions and their impact on our overall performance
· Supporting everyone in their development and desire for greater skill and responsibility
Andrew Fildes, Head of Commercial, comments, “As property managers we work with and talk to our customers every day so we need talented people who are trained and committed at the heart of our business. By investing in our staff we ensure we are giving the best possible service to residents so we are delighted that everyone’s hard work has been recognised by IIP.”
Anne Barrett, Investors in People, adds, “Congratulations to Insero for achieving the IIP Standard. There has been some very encouraging work in the area of expectations and roles of this new division.”
Gaining IIP accreditation is a great way for any organisation to demonstrate their commitment of utilising effective business practices and training and developing their people. Phil Hubbard Training and Development Manager added, “The accreditation is valid for 3 years then the business will have to reapply. The challenge for us all now, is to make sure the practices that we’ve adopted that secured the award, become embedded in our day to day activities.”
